Personalised Yoga in Buntingford

One-to-one yoga tailored to your body, experience and individual needs.

Whether you're completely new to yoga or looking to deepen an existing practice, sessions are adapted to you — helping you improve mobility and flexibility, build strength, reduce stress and develop greater confidence in your practice.

Choose from more active Hatha-based yoga, deeply restorative Yin Yoga, or a personalised combination of movement, breathwork, meditation and relaxation.

No previous yoga experience or particular level of flexibility is needed.

Personalised Yoga May Be For You If...

✓ You're completely new to yoga
✓ You'd prefer individual guidance rather than a group class
✓ You'd like to improve flexibility or mobility
✓ You want to build strength and body awareness
✓ You're experiencing stress or find it difficult to switch off
✓ You'd like support with your existing yoga practice
✓ You prefer a gentler or more restorative approach
✓ You'd like to explore breathwork and meditation
✓ You want a practice designed around your own body:

You don't need to be flexible or experienced to begin. Your practice starts exactly where you are and develops at a pace that feels right for you.

1:1 Personalised Yoga

Unlike a group class, a private yoga session gives us the time to focus entirely on your body, your goals and how you're feeling on the day.

Your practice may focus on mobility, flexibility, strength, relaxation, breathwork or simply becoming more comfortable and confident with yoga.

Postures can be adapted to your individual range of movement, and we'll take time to explore alignment and breathing without the pressure of keeping pace with a class.

Sessions can be active and strengthening, slow and restorative, or combine elements of both.

The aim isn't to achieve the perfect posture, it's to develop a practice that feels comfortable, sustainable and beneficial to you.

Choose the Style That Suits You

Hatha-Based Yoga

For strength • mobility • flexibility • balance

A more active practice combining yoga postures with mindful breathing.

Sessions can help develop strength, mobility, flexibility, balance and greater awareness of how your body moves.

The pace and difficulty are adapted to your experience, so this is equally suitable for beginners and those looking to develop an existing practice.

Yin Yoga

For relaxation • flexibility • stillness • slowing down

Yin Yoga takes a much slower approach.

Postures are generally supported and held comfortably for longer periods, allowing time to settle into the position without forcing or pushing the body.

The slower pace also creates space for mindful breathing, meditation and deep relaxation.

Yin can be particularly appealing if you're feeling stressed, overstimulated or simply want a quieter form of yoga.

Yin Yoga May Help You:

✓ Develop flexibility gradually
✓ Slow down and relax
✓ Explore longer-held postures
✓ Develop breath and body awareness
✓ Take time away from everyday stimulation
✓ Introduce more stillness into your yoga practice

What to Expect From Your Session

We'll begin with a short conversation about your experience, how your body is feeling and what you'd like to focus on.

Your 60-minute practice may then include:

Breathwork — settling into the session and developing awareness of your breathing.

Mobility & warm-up — gentle movement to prepare the body.

Yoga postures — selected and adapted around your individual needs.

Yin or restorative postures — where appropriate, allowing more time for stillness and relaxation.

Meditation or mindfulness — helping you slow down and become more present.

Savasana — finishing with guided relaxation and time for your body and mind to settle.

No two sessions need to be identical. As your practice develops, we can adjust what we work on together.

New to Yoga?

You are absolutely welcome.

You don't need to know the names of yoga poses, own expensive equipment or be able to touch your toes.

One-to-one yoga can actually be an ideal way to begin because you have the space to ask questions, learn at your own pace and understand how postures can be adapted to your body before entering a group environment.

Everything is explained and demonstrated, and there is no expectation to perform or keep up with anyone else.

Yin Yoga Classes

Alongside personalised one-to-one sessions, I also offer small-group Yin Yoga classes.

Classes provide a slower, supportive practice combining longer-held postures, mindful breathing, stillness and guided relaxation.

They're suitable for both beginners and those with previous yoga experience.

Yoga Beyond the Postures

For me, yoga has always been about more than physical movement.

The physical practice gives us an opportunity to slow down, notice our breath and become more aware of how we're responding, both physically and mentally.

Whether we're moving through a stronger practice or spending several minutes in the stillness of Yin, my approach isn't about performance or perfection.

It's about developing awareness, patience and a more compassionate relationship with your body.
